Jamie Simpson has recently been published in the Sunday Herald, Spectrum magazine (Scotland on Sunday), Herald, Evening Times, City Life and This is Music. He has a Licentiateship from the Royal Photographic Society. Some of his recent clients include Grayling International, John Deere, Media World and Chile and Lime Music.

He has experience working in a studio although predominantly works on location and where available uses natural light to create exceptional images.

In his personal work Jamie Simpson is passionate about his images of bands and takes great pride in his reportage projects both at home and abroad.

Jamie uses digital and film for his work. He currently has a Canon EOS 10D and a 20D digital camera and for film uses a Canon EOS 3 and 1V. He also uses a Mamiya 645 Pro TL for medium format work and has extensive experience on large format cameras. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable in digital photography and editing and in photoshop all on both PC’s and Mac’s.
